KBS Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate investment company, is signing two leases for the Dupont Centre, a two-building suburban office complex in Irvine. KBS purchased the development in June of this year, and despite a tough real estate market, it's experiencing some success.

“KBS Realty Advisors continues to counter industry trends by signing new tenants and expanding its commitments from existing space users,” says David Kray, senior vice president of the firm. He cites the company's staff's knowledge in the local real estate market, as well as KBS' network of offices as reasons for its recent success.

The law firm of Thomas, Kirk and Toberty LLP renewed its lease at 2201 Dupont Centre Drive, expanding its contract to 3,413 square feet of space. John Weiner, Jeff Morgan and Dean Chandler of CB Richard Ellis represented KBS, and Steve Lee of Cushman Wakefield represented the law firm.

And Headway Corporate Resources, a North Carolina-based staffing company, leased 2,478 square feet at 2201 Dupont Centre Drive to open its local office. KBS was again represented by CB Richard Ellis, while Mitch Lindquist of Jones Lang LaSalle acted for Headway.
