Kawasaki’s marketing director, Chris Brull stated that the new line of product would not be standing alone. There will also be some older, significant models as well, including the original 1984 Ninja and the 1971 Z1. Brull stated the event is supposed to bring the brand’s core authenticity to a broader audience. "Times Square is recognized as the 'crossroads of the world,' and we're thrilled to be able to share our brand of motorcycle enthusiasm with such a large, diverse group of New York residents and visitors," he said The event will also include appearances by decorated professional racer Ryan Villopoto, SPEED TV host Jason Britton, and national champion Rickey Gadson, as well as staged presentations, stunt riding exhibitions, drag race instruction, and free activities.
