New Kelley Blue Book feature tracks changes in vehicle values
Car owner notified by email when car’s value drops or rises by 2 percent

Using a new feature on Irvine-based Kelley Blue Book’s vehicle research Web site, kbb.com, users can track the value of up to five cars as it varies over time. The new “Follow This Car” feature keeps car sellers updated and notifies them by email if the value of their vehicle changes by more than 2 percent.
Prospective buyers and sellers can access the feature by clicking on “Values” and then “What’s my current car worth?” on the kbb.com homepage, and selecting their car’s make, model, and year. To receive email alerts regarding the value of their car, users need to simply enter their names and email addresses.
"It is critical to have the most up-to-date vehicle values information available when a consumer decides to sell their car," said Mike Wulf, director of product management for kbb.com. "Whether they decide to sell their car to a private party or trade it in at their local dealership, the latest valuation information provided by kbb.com's all-new Follow This Car feature will help ensure the best deal possible."
