The Web Marketing Association has named Irvine-based Kelley Blue Book and KBB.com the Outstanding Website in the Automobile category in the 2012 WebAwards for the second consecutive year.
Kelley Blue Book is best known for providing customers with new and used car values; KBB.com was recognized for its added resources of 5-year cost to own information, expert reviews and ratings and consumer reviews and ratings. In addition, car hunters can access KBB.com’s fair purchase price for new vehicle pricing estimates as to what consumers can expect to pay based on what others have paid for the same car.
"Recently, Kelley Blue Book has added pertinent, user-friendly tools to help new-car shoppers make more informed purchase decisions," said Scott Ehlers, vice president of product for Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com. "This award validates Kelley Blue Book's commitment to providing site visitors with the best online experience when researching vehicles."
Each of the 2,000 entries from 45 countries in this year’s WebAwards was judged on design, content, innovation, copywriting, interactivity, navigation and use of technology. The WMA honors WebAwards in 96 industries setting a standard for Website development across the World Wide Web.
