With a struggling auto industry fighting to regain footing, Kia Motors America, an economy car manufacturer, is doing its best to win over cash-strapped consumers. Kia is launching its redesigned Web site, kia.com, with new features, tools and technical upgrades to make the site user-friendly.

New enhancements include a virtual garage, where shoppers can customize models with various options, colors, interiors and accessories. Through Computer Generated Imagery, any combination of available features can be combined to create a specific car choice.

"With 75 percent of consumers researching their next new car purchase online, kia.com is critical to our marketing strategy," says Tim Chaney, the company's director of marketing communications. "New imagery, animations and video provide a better consumer experience and will help drive additional sales leads to our dealers."

Kia.com
has been a four-time winner of the J.D. Power and Associates Manufacturer Web site Evaluation Study Award.
