Kingston Technology Company Inc., the largest manufacturer of memory products, has updated the design of its existing modules and released the HyperX Red Limited Edition Memory to increase product performance.

The HyperX LoVo low-voltage modules were redesigned with a heat spreader that consumes less power and reduces heat to create a cooler and quieter machine. The module will retain its same green color, but utilizes the same features of other Kingston products.

The new HyperX Red will provide its users with faster speeds and larger capacities, as well as simple installation and reliability. It is available in 8GB kits and 4GB single modules.

“We have high-performance memory solutions to meet the specific needs of everyone from the entry-level gamer to the seasoned professional,” said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager for Kingston. “The new HyperX Red and the updated look of LoVo are great additions to our HyperX family.”
