Kofax signs $250,000 contract with ARCADIS
ARCADIS will use Kofax systems to handle its accounts payable and document managment

ARCADIS, an infrastructure and utilities design, engineering and consulting firm based in the Netherlands, has chosen Irvine-based Kofax, which creates capture enabled business process management products, to manage its automated accounts payable. The contract is valued at more than $250,000.
Kofax systems capture and extract business information and data for improved accuracy, cost efficiency and speed. ARCADIS receives 300,000 invoices annually, and will use three Kofax platforms – Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules and Kofax VirtualReScan Elite – to scan and process its documents.
By scanning images, extracting data and classifying documents, the platforms allow clients to retrieve information faster and keep paperwork organized. Kofax VirtualReScan Elite improves the quality of scanned images, ensuring that documents are legible.
“Organizations such as ARCADIS, which have a multitude of invoices coming in from diverse suppliers, are able to benefit, quickly and measurably, from investing in an accounts payable automation solution that provides a single, unified platform for the automated capture, classification and extraction of information from invoices,” said Alan Kerr, Kofax’s executive vice president of field operations.
