Kofax, which specializes in automatic document-driven processes such as receipt and exchange of confidential information, feels its new location will accommodate for the company's anticipated growth. The company also says its new building is actually less expensive than its current facility, due to the struggling commercial real estate market.

"The move provides high-quality, optimized space in a world-class location that will enable our organization to continue to focus on and pursue our strategic growth initiatives," says the company's CEO, Reynolds C. Bish.

Kofax will occupy two new buildings in the Discovery Business Center in the Irvine Spectrum Office and Industrial Complex area. The company will have more than 90,000 square feet of space in the campus-style floor plan. The site includes a 64,000-square-foot, two-story facility that connects to a 27,000-square-foot area on the ground floor of a nearby office.

The company signed a seven-year lease with an option to extend it and enlarge the space if needed. Kofax's new address is 15211 Laguna Canyon Road.
