The Orange County affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure received a donation of $10,000 from the Conquest Racing IndyCar team, driver Alex Tagliani, ODW Logistics and Rubicon Sports Agency, which is co-owned by Jason Priestly. A check was presented this past weekend at the Long Beach Grand Prix.Conquest will also continue to raise breast cancer awareness by placing a Susan G. Komen for the Cure decal on the front wing of its #34 Conquest car. The foundation’s logo will now go on all Conquest press materials. Conquest team owner Eric Bachelart, driver Alex Tagliani, ODW Logistics representative Sonja Ness Stockton and Jason Priestley, co-owner of Rubicon Sports Agency, presented the symbolic check to Lisa Wolter, executive director of Komen O.C. at the Conquest paddock in Long Beach. “We are incredibly excited about this contribution and are thrilled to have Komen’s presence on the #34 car raising awareness that everyone can help end breast cancer,” says Lisa Wolter. “When generous and unexpected donors like Conquest Racing step forward, they provide much needed funds to help local women who are battling breast cancer.
