Komen O.C., continued ...

Additionally, Komen O.C. announced its 2009-2010 Board of Directors, who will set the affiliate’s strategic direction and guide organizational decisions while coordinating outreach to businesses, sponsors, government officials and the community.

Joining the Komen Orange County affiliate’s board of directors are Carrie Bollwinkle, Peggy Carollo-Moyneur, Lisa E. Guerra, Kim Kutcher, and Raúl Sobero.

Chris Tannous, a two-time breast cancer survivor, will assume the role of board president. Tannous has been highly involved with the organization for several years, and previous roles on the board of directors have included chair of the grants and public policy committees.

“Our board of directors consists of truly outstanding figures both in the Orange County community and in the area of advancements in breast health,” says Lisa Wolter, executive director of the Komen Orange County Affiliate. “We are fortunate to have them with us as we fight to educate our community about breast cancer and to fund the research that will one day lead to its cure.”
