Irvine-based LA Fitness will remodel ten of its San Diego County clubs this year to better complement other new features already in place at the facilities, while expanding on their ultimate commitment to ensure the best workout experience for all members.

San Diego has proven a great market for the fitness clubs and has supported the growth of the company tremendously thus far, according to Senior Vice President/Chief Real Estate Officer of LA Fitness Bill Horner. “Members of these clubs will have access to other clubs in the area so that they do not experience an interruption in their normal routine.”

LA fitness guarantees a broad spectrum of amenities, highly trained staff, and a fun and effective workout environment for individuals and families of all ages. The club proudly showcases state-of-the-art facilities and equipment that is both familiar and comfortable for working professionals and gym regulars alike.

Each location provides high-end cardio equipment, indoor heated pools, spas and saunas, full locker facilities, juice bars and a range of group fitness classes. Personal trainers, racquetball, baseball, and Kids Klub babysitting services are available at an additional fee.

San Diego County locations involved in the remodel include Encinitas, Poway, Eastlake/Chula Vista, San Marcos, among six other San Diego locations.

“With more than $5 million slated for our San Diego remodels, we are looking forward to providing our members new amenities and features with the same great LA Fitness experience,” Horner said.

To date, LA Fitness is one of the fastest growing sports clubs in the U.S. and has more than 500 locations in 22 states as well as in Canada, all open seven days a week with select locations open 24 hours.
