Michael Schwartz. “SmartStop Self Storage has a national footprint but we think more locally,” Schwartz explains. “More like a neighborhood family business.” Schwartz says that SSTI decided to launch the new rebranding effort because of its continuously expanding portfolio and national presence. SSTI’s portfolio currently includes 24 properties located in 13 states – all in all, approximately 16,375 storage units and 2.2 million rentable square feet of storage space. The firm hopes to rebrand all properties with the SmartStop Self Storage name in the near future.
