Lake Forest-based Digital Eye is staring down the economic crisis and winning. The Internet marketing specialists experienced a 98 percent increase in the fourth quarter of 2008 and an additional 15 percent increase in the first quarter of 2009.
New clients say they are looking to allocate more marketing dollars on Internet strategies and search engine optimization (SEO) because results can be tracked so efficiently, making it easier to convert those interested into paying customers.
“There was a time when businesses just needed to have a Web site to establish legitimacy,” says Gary Brewer, president, Digital Eye. “But now a presence isn’t enough.”
