Latisys-Irvine LLC has signed a $7.7 million lease on a 93,433-square-foot industrial property on Von Karman Avenue – a move that will allow for an expansion of the firm’s data management and storage services.
The company, founded in 2007, provides managed backup and disaster recovery solutions, information technology operations and infrastructure solutions for businesses in a range of industries, including real estate, health care, entertainment and professional services. In 2009, it ranked among Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing companies.
Jones Lang LaSalle represented Latisys in the deal. Voit Real Estate negotiated the transaction for the landlord, MDD Partners II.
“Our extensive knowledge of deals in the market enabled Voit to secure the transaction when Latisys wanted to expand its Irvine operations,” said Voit’s John Griffin. “Voit’s customized marketing tactics included highlighting attractive qualities of the property, such as proximity to Latisys’ Irvine Colocation Center, making it an ideal location for the tenant.”
