Local.com Corp., a leading local Internet search site and network, announced Tuesday that its flagship brand, local.com, has been ranked as the 10th largest search engine in the United States by the Nielsen Company.The Nielsen Co. reported its MegaView Search data for the top U.S. search providers for August 2009. Nielsen MegaView reports include total searches, unique searchers and search share, among other criteria.
