Local.com turns 10; CEO rings NASDAQ opening bell
The lrvine-based local search site and network expects third-quarter financial totals to exceed expectations.

Irvine-based Local.com Corp. is celebrating its 10th anniversary and to mark the occasion, Heath Clarke, chairman and CEO, will be ringing the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 9:30 a.m. EST. The Opening Bell ceremony will take place at the NASDAQ MarketSite broadcast studio in New York City’s Times Square.
Following the Opening Bell ceremony, Local.com will host its first Analyst Day from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additionally the leading local search site and network, announced Monday that its unaudited preliminary third-quarter results indicate revenue to be between $14.8 and $15.1 million, exceeding the high end of its prior guidance of $14.6 million.
