Rounding out my repast: a bucket of Truffle Parmesan Fries, cooked up
shoestring style and crisped to perfection with a dusting of cheese.
Each
dish arrived with its own dipping sauce – garlic aioli for the prawns,
herb aioli for the tomatoes and catsup for the fries.
I
threw caution to the wind and ordered the decadent Choco Taco dessert.
The crunchy cinnamon tortilla, sprinkled with fresh sugar and folded
over, was a match for its stuffing of chocolate chip ice cream,
drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. I polished it off with the
restaurant’s own line of Diedrich coffee, The Chow Blend. Delish.
Also recommended: the Smoked Salmon Omelet, the Ruben Sandwich and the Winter Pear Salad.
