Lyon Communities celebrates newest opening
The Newport Beach-based developer launches gallery421 apartments in downtown Long Beach.

Newport Beach-based Lyon Communities is celebrating the grand opening of its newest luxury apartment community – this time in downtown Long Beach.
The 291-unit complex features five-star amenities, including a dog grooming area, java bar and private movie theatre. There’s also a business and conference center with Wi-Fi and teleconferencing, a billiards room, a card room, an on-site art gallery, a yoga and Pilates studio, a game room, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an exterior TV wall.
“We conducted extensive local consumer research to determine what type of community amenities and residential features most appeal to the active lifestyle enjoyed by downtown residents,” said Lyon Communities Chairman and CEO Frank Suryan Jr. “The way we live is evolving.”
