The marines in attendance at the event will have just returned home from an 8-month tour. The event will be full of family fun and great food. More than 200 volunteers will be on hand to welcome home the 1,000 marines. Of those returning home, approximately 400 are expected to bring their wives and an estimated 300 children will also be in attendance. Activities will include food, games, competitions (traditional tug-o-war, etc.) and music.
