![]() The 2012 MX-5 Miata Special Edition is an upgraded version of the Grand Touring Power Retractable Hardtop model, involving Premium Package features like Bluetooth hands-free mobile device system, a keyless entry system, and Xenon HID headlights. The two-seater vehicle is available with the option of two exterior colors, Crystal White Pearl Mica or Velocity Red Mica with a Black Mica hard top. The 17-inch Gunmetal Black alloy wheels are an extra feature. The limited edition of the vehicle, included is the Piano Black interior details, alloy pedals, black steering wheel and brake, and heated leather seats. There is a limited production of 450 models for this 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition. The MX-5 Miata was first displayed at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989. Today, it is known as the world’s best-selling two-seat roadster and most-raced car with over 900,000 vehicles produced to enhance the Zoom-Zoom driving experience. Along with the 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition, the Turbo2, Dempsey Racing No. 40 GRAND-AM Road Racing Car, 1990 Miata, and Star Mazda Championship Open-Wheel Race Car will be featured as well at the Chicago Auto Show. The Auto Show is set to take place on Friday, Feb. 10 through Sunday, Feb. 19 in Chicago. Tickets are still available.
