Rancho Santa Margarita-based Melissa Data closed 2009 with records sales for its Data Quality Tools product line.

Combined with sales from the Total Data Quality Integration Toolkit – or TDQ-IT – the customer record management software manufacturer was able exceed financial forecasts for the year.

“Businesses are looking to trim the fat from their budgets and operate leaner in a soft economy,” says Greg Brown, director of marketing. “An excellent place to start is by identifying waste and inefficiencies caused by incorrect, outdated or duplicate contact data.”

The TDQ-IT provides enterprise-level data quality and an integration platform to help companies verify, update, standardize, de-dupe and enrich their CRM data.

“So even in a soft economy or, more importantly, because of a soft economy, we see demand for our data verification tools to be strong as organizations look to streamline operations, cut waste and achieve a more unified view of the CRM data for lifetime values,” Brown says.

Melissa Data services small and large companies with multiplatform integration software, Web services and enterprise platforms including TDQ-IT, which delivers the full spectrum of data quality processes as defined by the Gartner Magic Quadrant rating system.
