![]() Friday is Mimi’s Muffins for Miracles Day, where guests will receive a free strawberry shortcake muffin with a donation and any purchase. Proceeds will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a nationwide nonprofit that has raised more than $4.3 billion for children’s hospitals since its creation in 1983. "Mimi's has a longstanding relationship with Children's Hospital of Orange County," said Mark Mears, president and chief concept officer of Mimi's Cafe. "Our Mimi's for Miracles campaign is especially meaningful as we extend our partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, allowing us to help more kids in 45 additional CMN Hospitals around our restaurants across the country." Through the end of this month, restaurant goers are invited to make donations of $1 or $5 in exchange for coupon savings. Funds raised will go toward providing local medical care, research and education in participating children’s hospitals. The restaurant chain is also hosting a social media campaign on Instagram and its website, where users and guests are invited to upload photos of the Mimi’s Miracle Balloon in-store display with the tag #Mimi’s4Miracles to make it onto the official Mimi’s facebook page.
