Mission Viejo's government access channel receives national award

MVTV is recognized for excellence by the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.

Mission Viejo Television (MVTV) has been recognized for excellence as a national government programming awards finalist for its “Making A Splash” TV program about the city’s community participation in the 2009 Tournament of Roses Parade.

MVTV earned top honors from NATOA (National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors) for government programming excellence in the Documentary-Event Coverage category.
 
MVTV, which is available 24/7 on Cox Communications cable channel 30, is Mission Viejo’s government access channel that broadcasts live City Council meetings and produces an array of local, informational and youth programs, as well as a community bulletin board.
