Costa Mesa-based NAIOP SoCal has named its new board of directors and executive committee, with William Flaherty of Irvine Co. Office Properties serving as committee president.

The organization comprises the local chapter of the National Commercial Real Estate Development Association, one of the largest trade organizations for professionals in the industry.

Executives from companies such as American Realty Advisors, USAA Real Estate Co. and Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group make up the executive committee. Flaherty (above) said he’s honored to work with the group.

“This chapter has made its voice heard on a local, regional and national level,” he said. “As the second-largest NAIOP chapter in the nation, we’ve worked to ensure that our membership has a voice on issues that matter to commercial real estate.”

Newly appointed board members include professionals from CB Richard Ellis, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Colliers International, 360 Commercial Partners and Boeing.

NAIOP SoCal serves Los Angeles and Orange counties, and has a membership of more than 1,000 members.
