The Orange County chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, a national organization for women business owners, announced this year’s winners for the 17th Annual Remarkable Women Awards.
The premier event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the City National Grove of Anaheim, honoring three of Orange County’s top businesswomen who have shown leadership, success and passion in their chosen industries. The awards recognize local women business owners for their will to step it up, follow their dreams and inspire others through their achievements. Business owners from small to large firms are selected through a thorough nomination and review process.
The 2012 Remarkable Women Awards will be presented to CEO and Founder of Seabreeze Management Company Inc. Lisa Dale, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award; Cofounder of Montage Legal Group Laurie Rowen, as the Entrepreneur to Watch; and CEO and Founder of Working Wardrobes, Jerri Rosen, with the Philanthropic Champion award.
Lifetime Achievement winner Dale is celebrating her 25 years in business with Seabreeze Management in Aliso Viejo. The company started with three community ties and today serves all of SoCal with representations in more than 100 associations with 28,000 properties and about 150 employees. Dale is dedicated to clients and staff as well as the community and was honored as a woman of courage by NAWBO-OC.
Montage Legal Group’s Rowen was awarded as a woman of inspiration entrepreneurial achievements, outstanding business accomplishments and her performance a role model. Rowen operates a nationwide network of contract and freelance attorneys to assist attorneys with substantive legal projects at a cost-effective way of managing client overflow. She is creating an innovative system for law firms to work with highly credentialed attorneys.
Awarded for the first time, Philanthropic Champion is to be awarded to Working Wardrobes Rosen. The non-profit organization helps nearly 5,000 men, women, young adults and veterans in trouble re-enter the workforce by providing career development and professional wardrobe services. Rosen was chosen as NAWBO-Oc’s woman of hope as Working Wardrobes have helped 60,000 people throughout Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Each honoree has created an enterprise that is making a significant impact on the community."
