Landscape architectural firm Summers/Murphy & Partners Inc., led by Pat Murphy, president, was the recent winner of two prestigious Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards, including the coveted honor of Detached Community of the Year – Luxury and Best Model Complex Landscape – Detached Luxury Community, for The Tides. The MAME 2007 Awards are sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association of Southern California (SMC/SC).
At the request of Standard Pacific, Summers/Murphy & Partners was the Master Coordinating Landscape Architect for The Tides, a residential project in the gated coastal setting of Crystal Cove. Summers/Murphy & Partners Inc. has provided landscape architectural services to builders, developers and communities in California, Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona and other Western states since 1960.
The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 50+ Housing Council awarded Garden Grove Senior Apartments by KTGY GROUP INC. the prestigious 2008 Best of 50+ Housing Gold Award in the category of Multifamily Housing: Overall Community – Income-Qualified Affordable Rental Apartments. Also, KTGY’s principal, Rob Williams, AIA, an expert in the 50+ market, was recently invited to speak at the Building Industry Association of Southern California’s [BIA/SC] 50+ Housing Council program, Design Opportunities for the Age Wave: What’s the Next Move for the Boomer? held in Newport Beach.
