K. Hovnanian’s® Four Seasons in Palm Springs, the city’s only gated active-adult resort community is 80 percent sold out! “Impressively low prices starting from the $200,000s and a prestigious address within the 92262 zip code underscore the high value of this resort-inspired community,” explains Brent Colby, sales consultant for K. Hovnanian’s® Four Seasons in Palm Springs. “A convenient location just two miles from downtown’s popular boutiques and cafés further accentuates the residential appeal of this exclusive setting for buyers who demand close proximity to important amenities. These brand-new homes range from approximately 1,902 to 2,825 square feet of interior space, with two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and a two-car garage.”

Avanath Capital Partners and MacFarlane Costa Housing Partners have acquired Simpson Housing Solutions and its portfolio of 273 properties, which totals 26,000 affordable rental apartments in 33 states. More than half of its 273 properties are located in California.

Earlier this year, SHS was ranked by Affordable Housing Finance magazine as the fifth-largest owner of affordable housing in the United States. It owned the most units of affordable housing in California.

John Laing Homes, one of the largest privately held homebuilders in the United States, proudly unveils its Custom Residences program, a new operation exclusively dedicated to designing and constructing luxury custom homes. John Laing Homes’ Custom Residences program will be managed by the builder’s award-winning Laing Luxury division and led by newly appointed Director of Custom Development Craig Delahooke.

“Laing Luxury’s Custom Residence program is an extension of our belief that a home should be, as much as possible, an expression of the lives lived within it,” says Tom Redwitz, president of Laing Luxury. “For decades, this belief has been a part of Laing Luxury – which is founded upon achieving personal satisfaction for its
homeowners. Custom Residences simply takes this understanding farther; as far as a custom homeowner desires it to go.”

Standard Pacific Homes’ Inland Empire Division continues to provide a higher level of customer service, a commitment that extends to standardpacificinland.com, its Web site. The company’s Internet sales representative, Amanda, is now available to chat with visitors online and to answer any questions they may have regarding a specific neighborhood or community. “This new online tool underscores the importance of today’s Internet technology and our dedication to addressing buyer questions as efficiently as possible during their search for the perfect new home opportunity,” explains Lorrie Yates, vice president of sales and marketing for Standard Pacific Homes, Inland Empire Division. “The Internet is a tremendous resource for consumers, and we want their homebuying search to be both easy and informative. The ‘Live Chat’ feature is an exciting asset for Web site visitors who want to engage in a personal dialogue to help guide them to a neighborhood that comfortably fits their architectural goals, lifestyles and personal budgets.”
