![]() The 2010 New Home Collection will showcase 25 floorplans from six different homebuilders featured throughout eight neighborhoods in the Irvine Villages of Woodbury and Woodbury East. Prices for the new homes within the 2010 New Home Collection are expected to start in the low $300,000s. “We’ve had such an incredible response to the 2010 New Home Collection,” says Tom Veal, vice president of residential marketing and product planning for Irvine Company Community Development. “With its premier builders, fantastic amenities, and innovative floorplans, the 2010 New Home Collection is one opportunity homeshoppers can’t afford to miss.” In fact, nearly every architectural feature of the 2010 New Home Collection’s floorplans and design is the result of thorough research that asked families what they wanted in new homes. The research team discovered that families desired large communal spaces where there is a strong connection between the kitchen, the dining room, and the family room. Based on these findings, Irvine-based Robert Hidey Architects Inc. and Newport Beach-based Bassenian/Lagoni Architects delivered floorplans featuring spacious kitchens, great rooms and California rooms as one grand space. The great rooms and kitchens flow into exterior California rooms that provide easy access to outdoor entertaining. The 2010 New Home Collection is scheduled to debut in the Villages of Woodbury and Woodbury East in January 2010 and includes: • Santa Rosa by Van Daele Homes offers townhomes priced from the low $300,000s, with one to two bedrooms and one and one-half to two and one-half baths, and 1,040 to 1,430 square feet of living space. • Monterey by Brookfield Homes features townhomes of up to 1,875 square feet, with two to three bedrooms and two to two and one-half baths, plus two-car direct access garages, priced from the high $400,000s. • Coronado by KB Home showcases three two-story, single-family detached homes with three to four bedrooms and two and one-half to three baths.
