In one smart move, Foothill Ranch-based C Walters Intercoastal Corp.’s (CWIC) products will soon reach a new market. The company has signed a licensing agreement with the “For Dummies” brand to expand its own line of aquatics products. Beginning early next year, a new line of branded “beginner products,” will be packaged with an instructional component that will bear the familiar yellow and black “For Dummies” reference.Three products, centered on introducing consumers to select water sports, will be available in early 2010. Aqua Fitness For Dummies, for example, will include equipment and accessories as well as a waterproof exercise and user's guide. "CWIC is one of the most trusted names in aquatics designing and developing quality aquatic products for over 15 years," says CWIC Founder Cindi Walters. "Licensing the 'For Dummies' line allows us to grow our market share with one of the most trusted and established names in the world. You know that when you are buying a 'For Dummies' product you are getting quality and instruction." The company will brand several "For Dummies" aquatic sets, including Teaching Kids to Swim For Dummies, Snorkeling For Dummies (for both juniors and adults) and Aqua Fitness For Dummies.
