![]() More than 125 local employers will attend this year’s Job Fair and Expo, which is supported by some of Orange County’s best-known companies and organizations: the Disneyland Resort, the Orange County Register, the Orange County Business Council, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the Orange County Workforce Investment Board, among others. Veterans’ organizations, such as Veterans First, will be present to provide resources for former military personnel. In addition, services will be available for veterans and other prospective employees with disabilities. All participants can attend resume and career skills workshops. The expo will also offer hiring incentives to companies located in the Anaheim Enterprise Zone, which encompasses a designated geographical area and comprises nearly 80 percent of the city’s businesses. The Enterprise Zone program, started by the state of California, provides tax credits for businesses that hire employees who meet certain criteria. “The Anaheim/OC Job Fair and Expo has proved to be a valuable resource for both job seekers and employers, and we are proud to host the fourth annual event,” said Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait, who asked Mayor Pro Tem Harry Sidhu to lead this initiative. “This will be a wonderful opportunity for those seeking employment, as well as employers needing to hire quality workers to take advantage of the face-to-face connection this job fair can provide.” Admission and parking are free. Job seekers are encouraged to register online at www.anaheimjobs.com, and employers should reserve booth spaces by calling 714.765.4350.
