The annual Orange County Restaurant Week, hosted by the Orange County Restaurant Association, will kick off this Sunday, Feb. 26, and will run until Saturday, March 3. Lunch and dinner will be served at a fixed price – ranging from $10 to $40 – at the top 100 restaurants in the county, giving foodies a chance to explore a diverse array of local cuisine. Chefs at eateries ranging from casual to upscale will customize their menus for the event, featuring specially designed multi-course offerings throughout the week.
“This week is a great opportunity for O.C. foodies to try new restaurants in Orange County,” said Pamela Waitt, president of the O.C. Restaurant Association. “We have many talented chefs who demonstrate so much skill, creativity and passion during Orange County Restaurant Week, and without them, this grand culinary celebration wouldn’t continue to grow in excitement every year.
"We’re showcasing these top chefs at the county’s best restaurants as the county’s crème de la crème by shining a spotlight on them on our official website with a special ‘Meet The Chef’ Q&A alongside their special menus,” Waitt added.
This marks the sixth weeklong celebration that the O.C. Restaurant Association has held in the past four years.
