Three O.C. lawyers launch Goodman Mooney law firm
The Irvine-based firm focuses on intellectual property and business law

Three Orange County based lawyers, Eric Goodman, Amanda Mooney, and David Berstein, join forces to launch the new firm, Goodman Mooney. The firm embraces innovative technology to specialize in intellectual property and corporate law.
Goodman Mooney continues to grow with new staff members and a 3,500-square-foot office space on Irvine Center Drive. Each lawyer brings their own area of expertise to the firm, which already represents clients from a diverse range of industries, including apparel and beauty brands, action sports clients and professional athletes.
Goodman formerly worked in the action sports industry and uses his experience on brand transactions and disputes regarding trademarks, copyrights, false advertisement and breach of contract. “We have a genuine passion for what we do which is why we have such success in advocating for our clients,” he says.
Mooney, who has served as an outside general counsel for Too Faced Cosmetics Inc., concentrates her skills within trademark, copyright, new media and internet law, with a focus on U.S. and international intellectual property and corporate matters. She has also worked in the field of action sports while managing sponsorship and endorsement contracts for Boost Mobile.
Berstein is a well-established trial lawyer who has represented clients in litigation matters for over a decade. Berstein states, “I cherish the opportunity to present a client’s case before a judge or jury, but I also recognize it’s often in the client’s best interest to resolve disputes efficiently through alternative dispute resolution means such as mediation.”
A few of Goodman Mooney’s current clients include: Too Faced Cosmetics, champion snowboarders Torstein Horgmo, Andreas Wiig and John Jackson, professional surfer Kai Barger, and internationally recognized boxing trainer and owner of Wild Card Boxing Club Freddie Roach.
