OC METRO honors its Platinum Hot 25
Churm Media held its annual gala event at The Island Hotel Tuesday night to recognize the 2009 list-makers.

More than 450 honorees, VIPs and dignitaries attended the hottest party in town last night at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach, the location for OC METRO’s Hot 25 event. Churm Media, OC METRO’s parent company, holds a gala every year to recognize the standouts in the county who made its annual list of the Hottest 25 People in Orange County. This year marks the 20th such list, which was deemed Hot 25 Platinum.
The glitterati mingled, sipping Blue Angel vodka martinis, nibbled 24 Carrot’s decadent petit fours and enjoyed the Island’s Chef Bill Bracken’s trademark cuisine prior to the program, which was hosted by Churm Media CEO and OC METRO Publisher Steve Churm.
Outside the hotel, the latest model BMWs were on display, compliments of the title sponsor, Irvine BMW. Also sharing the spotlight was a brand-new Karma by Fisker Automotive, the eco-chic high-performance plug-in electric hybrid car developed by honoree Henrik Fisker.
