Orange County Restaurant Week will be held February 22 through 28 and as part of the festivities, 13 local chefs will be demonstrating their skills and the preparation of their signature dishes at the Bloomingdale’s Home Store in South Coast Plaza. Restaurant week is a countywide event designed to promote the diverse offerings of Orange County’s restaurant industry. Participating restaurants are offering prix-fixe lunch menus for $10 and $20 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $20, $30 or $40, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity.Reservations can be made either by going to the Orange County Restaurant Week Web site (click here) or by calling the restaurants directly. The Bloomingdale’s chef demos will begin prior to the start of O.C. Restaurant Week and each chef will prepare one or more dishes that are part of their three-course event menu.
