Honda Center Earth Day Celebration
In honor of its new hybrid, the 2010 Honda Insight, the auto manufacturer is holding a homecoming event for more than 100 first-generation Insight owners at Honda Center in Anaheim. The event will include live music provided by 104.3MyFM Valentine in the Morning deejays Valentine and Irma Blanco, as well as an appearance from the Anaheim Ducks Street Team and the Ducks' mascot Wild Wing. In conjunction with the event, consumers can also enter to win a 2010 Honda Insight.

Greer's O.C. Launch Party
Sip a cocktail at Mesa Restaurant in Costa Mesa and be a part of the launch of Greer's O.C.’s new Green eZine. The party will include cuisine from Mesa, a raffle drawing, silent auction benefiting Global Green USA and music by multiplatinum producer “spider” Ron Entwistle. Reservations are recommended. Broadcom Corp. E-Waste Recycling Program
More than 2,000 of Irvine-based Broadcom's employees are bringing in old and unused electronics to be recycled on Earth Day. And through a partnership with the Orange County Coastkeeper, staff members will donate their time to clean up the beaches in Orange County. Broadcom is also working to reduce its environmental impact and conserve resources – worldwide. The company's chip designs, featured in set-top boxes, TVs and wireless routers, are saving energy in homes and businesses.

San Juan Capistrano's Earth Day Fair
Description: San Juan Capistrano is holding its Earth Day Fair – it's the largest environmentally friendly event in South Orange County. The eighth annual fair will feature exhibitors including the city’s stormwater, recycling, historic preservation and water conservation programs. The Dana Point Ocean Institute, Vertez, Earth Resources, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Caspers Wilderness Park, The Donna O'Neill Land Conservancy and Bureau of Land Management, among others, will also take part in an effort to educate residents about ways to preserve and improve the environment. Other activities include hands-on displays, environmental computer games and an enviroscape model.

Artes de la Vida and Earth Day Celebration
The city of Mission Viejo is honoring Earth Day with an eco-friendly celebration and its third annual Artes de la Vida festival at the Village Green Oso Viejo Park. Blending visual and performance arts, the event will showcase performances from The Laguna Dance Theatre and jazz musician Rob Verdi, as well as the Artes Village, a creative journey through a timeline of art, its forms and periods. Environmental festivities include green-living products, methods and exhibits. Attendees can also donate to local food banks throughout the day by bringing canned goods to the free event.

Woodbury Town Center Community Event
The Irvine Public Schools Foundation is teaming up with Irvine Co.'s Woodbury Town Center merchants to host an Earth Day event as part of the foundation's Dream Raffle, which raises money to support the Irvine Unified School District. Though the grand prize drawing of $500,000 is scheduled for June 20, other awards will be given out throughout the celebration, including the early bird drawing of a Toyota Prius, and a beach cruiser in a drawing for those who make same-day purchases from any Woodbury retailer. Among the other festivities: performances from students with the Irvine Unified School District musical ensembles; kids activities; healthy living and environmental exhibits; and special offers from select retailers. Prize drawings take place at 3 p.m.
