Fourth of July Celebration at Newport Dunes Waterfront

If you head over to the Newport Dunes, the entire day will be filled with fun activities in a family environment. Attractions include bounce houses, water slides, surf simulators, carnival rides and a fun fair. The $50 per car parking fee includes five wristbands, which cover a number of all-day festivities. Not included in the cost will be food, beverages and admission to the aquatic water park, Moe B’s Watersports (open from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.). The resort will join forces with the city of Newport Beach to host a fireworks show starting at 9 p.m.

Mission Viejo Fourth of July Street Fair and Fireworks spectacular

Families can enjoy booths filled with food, drinks, crafts and gifts, among other offerings during Mission Viejo's holiday event. Free entertainment will include music, dance and comedy for both children and adults. Performers are drawn from local talent as well as professionals from outside areas. Come dusk, the event will feature a fireworks display.

 eVocal and Avalon Freedom of the Arts Music Festival

eVocal will be collaborating with Avalon bar for the second annual Freedom of the Arts Music Festival to showcase Southern California art, celebrate the day and say farewell to eVocal's current location. More than 25 visual and performance artists will be showcased at the event. And guests can enjoy a constant stream of music from more than 15 live musical acts while a dozen visual artists paint a 12-by-36-foot mural. Live music, art, food, drinks and festivities are scheduled for the entire day.

City of Anaheim's Fourth of July

Anaheim “Firecracker” 5/10K Run – 2K Walk and Product/Health Fair
Approximately 1,500 runners will begin the 11th annual “Firecracker” Run at Canyon High School. The top male and female runners will receive cash prizes, and random drawings will also offer prizes and awards. The event costs $20 to participate (after June 24) and includes a T-shirt.

Anaheim Fourth of July Parade

Anaheim's holiday parade features bands, floats and pedestrians who will begin marching at Canyon High School and end at Pinney Drive. More than 50 participants are expected; friends and family can line the route to observe the show.

Entertainment and Fireworks Show at Peralta Park
