Lake Forest’s Panasonic Avionics equips Japan’s All Nippon Airways

The in-flight entertainment systems innovator received a new order for its eX2 systems.

  • Lake Forest-based Panasonic Avionics Corp. (Panasonic), the world leader in state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment and communication (IFEC) systems, announced Monday that it received a new order for its eX2 IFE system from Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) for its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

    Panasonic’s eX2 system delivers an enhanced IFE experience through Audio and Video On Demand (AVOD) and other entertainment options on high-resolution seatback monitors. Passengers can also view on their iPods and other personal media content can be viewed on the in-seat display using the iPod, USB and audio jacks. Additionally, the eX2 system offers advanced interactive entertainment choices, including shopping, and games, movies and television programming.
