![]() The partnership makes OC Motorsports the new home of the Jeepspeed Desert Race Series, which consists of both the ATK Jeepspeed Challenge and the ATK Jeepspeed Mopar Cup. “I’m extremely excited about the partnership because it will give the Jeepspeed Challenge desert racing series expanded visibility and a way for the Jeepspeed Association to grow its membership,” said Jeepspeed Founder Clive Skilton, who will continue as the association’s president and race director. The 2010 ATK Jeepspeed Challenge is a five race series in California, Nevada and Arizona. So far, 60 teams across two classes have registered. The next race is set for Feb. 5 and 6. OC Motorsports – which was opened by Jon Gray, president of Orange Coast Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge last year – offers a retail showroom, parts department and work bays for both vehicle service and fabrication. Next up: developing a line of OC Motorsports Jeepspeed Performance Engines by ATK. The company also will develop innovative performance, exterior and interior enhancements under the Jeepspeed brand name, along with providing modification services for Jeeps and trucks, and used vehicles from Orange Coast Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge and other dealerships. |
