![]() The Orange County Business Council (OCBC)'s 2009 Annual Dinner, set to take place in February, includes a keynote address from Pete Carroll, who is in his eighth year as head football coach at USC. OCBC is an organization working to strengthen, represent and promote business in Orange County. The Annual Dinner began in 1991, and has featured speakers such as former President Reagan, Bill O'Reilly and Paul Merage. To coincide with the dinner's theme, Compete to Succeed, Carroll will provide a keynote entitled "Win Forever by Always Competing." He will discuss the importance of business, setting goals, measuring success and finding the best ways to prosper – especially in such uncertain times. More than 700 of Orange County's business and community leaders, elected officials and media will attend the Annual Dinner. In addition to Carroll's keynote address, the new board of directors will be announced. The event takes place on Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine. ![]() |
