• With the gorgeous historic Old Stone Church (right) as the backdrop, the
Mission San Juan Capistrano's Romance of the Mission Benefit Gala Concert & Dinner this year brought in more than
$430,000 for preservation and programs.
• Another star-studded event, the annual SeaChange Summer Party, raised
$900,000 for local conservation programs and the nonprofit Oceana.
• And a number of annual fundraisers hit the quarter-million-dollar
mark, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Pink Tie Ball, Auction
Orange County’s Share Our Wine Foundation benefiting Orangewood
Children’s Foundation and J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding
Center’s black-tie gala.
