![]() The party, held at [seven degrees] in Laguna Beach (how’s that for cool), drew 350 supporters of the nonprofit, which was founded in 2002 by members of the band Sugar Ray. Music for a Cure aims to share the healing power of music with critically ill children, providing kids with instruments and funding for music therapy programs at local children’s hospitals. The group started up CHOC’s program. Entertainment for the evening: a fashion presentation by SoCa St. John, a magician, a dance performance, and silent and live auctions. Wine was donated by Martin Ray; [seven degrees] catered the food; and AsomBroso provided some premium tequila. Then guests danced the night away to music provided by DJ Homicide. Now that rocks. |
