Premier Mounts introduces ultra-thin flat-panel mounts

The Anaheim-based company is releasing its products to easily integrate TVs into home décor.

Premier Mounts, an audio-visual technology company, is launching the World's Thinnest Mount. The wall mounts allow flat-panel TVs to hang less than one-half inch from the wall and fits models from 37 to 65 inches.

With the new mounts, the TVs will fit easily into a room's design without taking up an excessive amount of space.

"A flat-panel now can hang on the wall like a picture and contribute to – not take away from – the design of a space,” says Eric Mancini, the company's product manager.

The World's Thinnest Mount also comes with an expandable back plate and brackets to fit a wide range of displays, spring-loaded brackets with a built-in safety release and a black powder finish.

The new product will be available this month at premiermounts.com and in retail outlets such as Fry's and Sears. The World's Thinnest Mount retails for $229.99.
