Two Orange County prepaid wireless services companies have signed an agreement to expand their product portfolio and range of distribution. Under the partnership, Emida Technologies, a prepayment and value transfer services firm located in Foothill Ranch, will distribute Newport Beach-based PrepaYd Wireless’ products and services. PrepaYd Wireless, a mobile service provider, will in turn gain access to Emida’s broad U.S. distribution market. Emida operates in more than 30 countries worldwide, and has a strong U.S. presence.

“Emida offers a robust payment network which is a great fit for PrepaYd Wireless as their technology is a great solution for our customers to establish service and top up their phones. Emida also gives PrepaYd Wireless accessibility to thousands of potential PrepaYd retail locations that can be used to market, promote and to establish PrepaYd Wireless Service. We believe as we roll out our products and services through their distribution partners we will be bringing Emida new distribution partners as well which is a real win-win deal,” said PrepaYd Wireless founder and vice president Josh Berman.

Emida North America vice president Ron Kraft said, “The PrepaYd Wireless product will be a great addition to our existing suite of prepaid products and services. We are certain that the deployment and implementation plans of PrepaYd Wireless will fit very well with Emida’s existing distribution strategy and will also be well received by new partners.”
