The Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (OC/PRSA) recognized the top PR campaigns and industry standouts at the 34th annual PROTOS Awards, themed, “Passport to PROTOS” on Friday night at Rancho Las Lomas. About 200 public relations and media professionals gathered for the awards ceremony to honor the industry’s best professionals, companies and campaigns. Churm Media’s Steve Churm served as guest emcee for the event, announcing the 80 winning programs and projects from across Orange County and beyond. Entries were submitted in nearly 40 different categories, ranging from community outreach and media relations to collateral development and multicultural programs. More than 130 submissions were reviewed by judges from a PRSA chapter in a different region of the country.
