Irvine’s REDC auctions 1,000 homes across 47 states

Weekend sales nationwide hit $68.4 million, with the Orange County properties totaling nearly $600,000.

Irvine-based Real Estate Disposition Corp. (REDC) auctioned more than 1,000 homes across 47 states this past weekend, two within Orange County. This makes its weekend nationwide sales numbers hit $68.4 million, with Orange County homes totaling nearly $600,000.

The homes, located in Anaheim and Mission Viejo, both sold for more than $200,000 below their previous values, making them a steal for homebuyers.

The 1,134-square-foot Anaheim home with three bedrooms and one bath sold for $304,500. The Mission Viejo home with 1,472 square feet, three bedrooms and two baths sold for $273,000.   

Other Southern California sale highlights include a Los Angeles townhome, which sold for nearly $134,000 – 61 percent below its previous value.
