Laguna Niguel-based real estate investment firm Raintree Partners has acquired a 168-unit apartment community in San Dimas for $21 million.

The Mountain View Apartments is the second multifamily property the company has gained this year: In April, Raintree also acquired a 204-unit development in Sunnyvale for nearly $40 million.

But that's not all: The firm plans to add more properties to its portfolio, according to Raintree CEO Jeffrey Allen. He believes the firm has "significant additional capital" for such opportunities.
