![]() The new practice group will furnish corporations, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals with an assortment of related services. The law firm’s new branch will represent clients interacting with California and municipal regulatory bodies, as well as politicians and their staffs; assist in lobbying and other associated public-sector services; build strategic coalitions; draft and present laws; and, if necessary, appear in court, according to Rutan & Tucker. “For more than a century, Rutan has had a hand in shaping many of California’s earliest public agencies and has a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing both public agencies and private entities,” said Managing Partner Ski Harrison. “Though the practice group is new, the attorneys involved have represented entities in some of our state’s most complex and challenging public-policy issues, such as renewable energy, redevelopment, affordable housing, fees and taxes, health care, solid waste and recycling, transportation, education and water.” ![]() Muñoz currently practices in Rutan’s Government & Regulatory Law Section and has worked in this capacity since he signed on in 1989. In addition, he is a city attorney for both Dana Point and Twentynine Palms, and is employed as general counsel for a number of businesses in the private sector.
