![]() The volume leveling system, SRS TruVolume, stabilizes volume fluctuations that occur when changing channels, or when a television program switches to commercial. Instead of experiencing differing volume levels between TV programming, SRS TruVolume is designed to allow the user to set a single volume level without adjustments. The study, which was conducted independently by Quicktest/Heakin Research, concluded that 85 percent of survey participants preferred the SRS TruVolume system to Dolby Volume. Additionally, 80 percent surveyed that they would be more likely to purchase a television with a volume leveling system built in such as SRS TruVolume. The company is absolutely thrilled by the survey results, according to Allen H. Gharapetian, vice president of marketing for SRS Labs Inc.
