SRS Labs Inc., continued ...

“We have been working tirelessly to develop the ultimate and most effective solution aimed at eliminating annoying TV volume fluctuations,” Gharapetian says. “And upon seeing the results of this study, we’re confident that TruVolume is, hands-down, the best solution in its class.”

The study, which took place at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, was conducted through a side-by-side blind comparison of SRS TruVolume and Dolby Volume. One hundred participants were brought in to compare volume systems on identical television stations.  Participants were not told the brand names for the volume systems which they were evaluating.

To promote the SRS TruVolume system further, SRS Labs is giving away three Samsung HDTVs featuring the SRS TruVolume system in an online sweepstakes.  Sweepstakes participants are being asked to vote on how the new SRS TV commercial “date-gone-bad” should end. The sweepstakes will be open through November 3, and participants can enter at srslabs.com/truvolume.
