Don Crevier, owner of Santa Ana-based Crevier BMW, recently garnered the President's Volunteer Service Award primarily for his work with the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach.

Former President George W. Bush created the program in 2003 to recognize contributions volunteers make to the nation and to encourage all Americans to improve their communities through service and civic participation. The honor is issued by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.

Crevier received the award from Boys & Girls Club of America President Roxanne Spillett during the organization's Pacific Region Board Conference.

“Compassion, high expectations, humility and a drive to help others help themselves are the motivating forces behind Donnie’s authentic altruistic leadership style,” says Pamela Estes, executive director of the Laguna Beach arm of the organization.
